Aghadewey Oval hosted a compact but fiercely‑contested National Championship & World Championship Qualifier round, with just #66 Colin Croese, #27 Chris Streets, #57 Samakorn Ratphitaksanti , and #606 Jonathan Siddle taking to the track — a small field, but one that produced tight racing, clean battles, and a dominant display from #66 Croese, who controlled the meeting from start to finish.

Despite the low numbers, the pace never dropped. Every race ran nose‑to‑tail, with all four locked together for most of the evening, creating a surprisingly intense round where mistakes were costly and overtaking had to be earned.

Heats

The opening heat set the tone immediately. #66 Croese got away cleanly and never looked back, while #57 Ratphitaksanti and #27 Streets traded places several times before settling into second and third. #606 Siddle stayed in touch throughout but couldn’t quite break into the top three.

Heat 2 saw #27 Streets make the early running, but #66 Croese reeled them in by mid‑distance and completed a tidy pass to take another win. #57 Ratphitaksanti held steady in third, with #606 Siddle again completing the order.

A near‑carbon copy of Heat 2, with #27 Streets once more trying to break away early. #66 Croese stayed patient, closed the gap, and took the lead with a clean move. #57 Ratphitaksanti and #606 Siddle followed in formation.

Final

The Final produced the closest race of the night. #606 Siddle found extra pace and pushed #66 Croese hard in the early laps, but the championship leader held firm and pulled clear to secure a fourth win. #27 Streets and #57 Ratphitaksanti completed the top four after a steady run.

Grand National

The GN wrapped up the evening with another composed drive from #66 Croese, completing a perfect five‑race sweep. #606 Siddle continued their late‑meeting form with another strong second, followed by #57 Ratphitaksanti and #27 Streets.
