F2 Stockcars Rules
Current rules and information for F2 Stockcars.
1. Driver Registration
Drivers must register with a race number before they are able to race. This can done via the #driver-registration channel on our Discord Server using the following format.
Car# 123
Driver Name: (In-game Driver Name)
Real Name: Joe Blogs (for website news/publicity purposes only)
Nationality: UK (or appropriate flag emoji)
Race numbers can only be from 0-999. During meetings your in-game driver name MUST contain your registered number (e.g. Name123 or #123Name). This is to help admins with results. Failure to do this could exclude you from scoring points.
2. Bookings
- Drivers MUST book into a meeting via #meeting-bookings channel on Discord to be able to race that meeting.
- Drivers MUST only book or unbook themselves into a meeting.
- To book into a meeting drivers must enter their number into #meeting-bookings. If a driver cannot make a meeting and they are booked in, they must send the message ‘unbook’ in the booking channel.
- Bookings will be posted in the #meeting-info channel by an admin.
- Bookings are open until 7:30pm on Mondays, 30 minutes before the meeting starts.
3. Racing
3.1. Starting Procedure

- Each track will is clearly marked for graded meetings
- After the green light Drivers must position themselves (via the infield) behind their designated grade marker 2-a-breast.
- ALL Drivers must display their correct roof colours for their grade. If the roof colours are incorrect a penalty will be issued.
- ALL NEW Drivers will start at WHITE (C Grade/Novice).
- Grades are the responsibility of individual Drivers, PLEASE check your grades before each meeting.
- When all Drivers are lined up correctly & ready, RACE CONTROL will issue a message “WHEN THIS MESSAGE GOES RACE” only then can the race begin.
- Race winners from the meeting must start at the back of their grade.
- For Grand Nationals, the final winner must start 2 car lengths in front of the start
line a lap behind the grid with a mandatory lap handicap.
3.2. Racing Conduct
- NO CUTTING use of the infield during a race will be classed as cutting and may result in penalties.
- NO driving round the track the wrong way, slowly or waiting for other drivers.
- Drivers must, NOT continue to race with a severely damaged car, (I.E puncture, missing wheel or major suspension damage). Drivers must pull onto the infield if they can or stop by the fence on the bends out of the way of the racing line. If a driver is unable to do this, they MUST retire from the race and spectate.
- Care MUST be taken when rejoining the racing line following a spin.
- NO LEANING, drivers must not lean another driver into the fence to gain an advantage.
- IN RACE CHAT Please keep it to a minimum.
ANY DRIVER WHO FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE RULES MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE SERVER. THERE ARE NO ‘ROLLING STARTS’ AT THIS TIME BUT THEY MAY BE INTRODUCED IN THE FUTURE.
4. Meeting Format
- Meeting formats depend on car numbers or championships.
- Drivers must take part in at least 2 heats to take part in the meeting final.
- Some championships require different formats which could require up to 5 heats.
- If a driver wins the meeting final MUST run the lap handicap.
- If a driver wins a race during a meeting, they must start at the back of their grade for the duration of the meeting (unless otherwise stated by Admin).
4.1. All in Format:
24 cars or less. Drivers take part in all 3 heats, Final & Grand National (GN).

4.2. ¾ Format:
Over 24 cars. Drivers must race 3 out of the 4 heats. Drivers will have designated heat splits. The top24 (26 for championships) points scoring from heats will make the final.

5. Points
Points are scored at each meeting, with only the top 10 scoring points.

6. Grades
A) Grading lists are updated monthly, with new grades generally coming into force on the 1st of each month, grades are based on Championships, National Points & average points.
B) There are 5 different grades.

C) During meetings drivers will start in this grading order; whites, yellows, blues, reds, and superstars
D) Superstars must run a red grade roof but are permitted to use Superstar lights.
6.1. How Grades Work
Grading will be decided over: National Pts, Average Pts, Race Wins & Previous Grades.
- In a grading period drivers can go up a max of 2 grades & down 1 grade.
- To be downgraded drivers compete in at least 2 meetings in a grading period.
- If a white OR yellow grader wins the Final, they will automatically go up to the next grade for the next meeting.
- New drivers will start from white unless told otherwise.
- If a Major title is lost, then their minimum grade thereafter is blue for the next season.
7. Championships
Drivers must be registered to take part in Championships.
7.1. National Championships: (Nat)
Our main Championship of the season, taking in every meeting from the start of the season to the last. Points scored during each meeting go towards the Championship with the driver with the most points at the end of the season taking the Silver Roof.

The driver that wins this title has a minimum grade of SUPERSTAR for the following season.
7.2. British Championship: (BC)
Run on a British mainland track mid-way through the season, with the grid formed off the heat points.

The driver that wins this title has a minimum grade of RED for the following season.
7.3. Scottish Championship: (SC)
Run on a Scottish track, with the grid formed off the heat points.

The driver that wins this title has a minimum grade of RED for the following season.
7.4. Irish Championship: (IrC)
Run on a Irish track, with the grid formed off the heat points.

The driver that wins this title has a minimum grade of RED for the following season.
7.5. European Championship: (EC)
One of the 4 major titles of the season, this championship is a random draw on the day where the top 24 national points drivers that are booked in form the grid. The random draw can create a mix bag of results,
seen with no driver managing to win this title more than once. The driver that wins this title has a minimum grade of red for the season.
- Race Length: 25 Laps
- Grid: Random grid formed (Top 20 National Points) & 4 Drivers from a Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) only 16 laps to form the 24 car grid. This is only done if more than 30 cars are booked in & are eligible to race for chanpionship.

The driver that wins this title has a minimum grade of RED for the season.
7.6. World Championship: (WC)
- Race Length: 25 Laps
- Grid: Finishing positions from the semi-finals, with the winners from each semi-final starting on the front row, 2nd row 2, 3rd row 3, etc…
Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) race on the day to form the remainder of the grid. Formed in 2 groups. Front group those who raced in a Semi-Final but failed to qualify. Rear Group (2 grade gaps behind) is those who raced a WQR but did not turn up to a semi-final. Run over 16 Laps. – If the current World Champion fails to qualify, they are automatically assigned the last car on the grid (position 25)

7.7. World Championship Semi-Finals: (WCSF)
A qualifying race to make the World Championship. Points are scored over World Championship Qualifying rounds, which are held at specific meetings during the season. The finishing positions determine the grid for the race for the Gold.
- Race Length: 20 Laps
- Grid: Points order from WQR points.
The highest finishing driver in the meeting final that took part in either semi final will secure the inside (preferred) line for the World Championship grid.
